How to cancel in the canton of {nom}
For basic insurance, changing insurer follows the legal year-end calendar: a cancellation received in time takes effect on the following 1 January. First take out a policy with the new insurer, obtain membership confirmation, then cancel the old one. In Vaud as elsewhere, basic cover must never be interrupted.
